Margaret Cassidy "Maggie" Lawson (born August 12, 1980) is an American actress who is best known for her role as Detective Juliet "Jules" O'Hara in the TV show Psych. She also has starred in the sitcoms Inside Schwartz, It's All Relative, and Crumbs, as well as the television movie Nancy Drew. In late 2014 and early 2015, she had a supporting role as Miss McMartin in the 12th and final season of Two and a Half Men.

Life and career
Lawson was born in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Judy, a homemaker, and Mike Lawson, a hotel manager. She attended Assumption High School, an All-Girls Catholic school. Early on, she co-hosted WDRB Fox 41 Kid's Club in Louisville. In 2000, she starred in Model Behavior, a Disney Channel movie featuring Justin Timberlake. She also made guest appearances on television series such as Smallville and Fear Itself.
She co-starred in the USA Network original series, Psych, as Detective Juliet O'Hara. Lawson dated Psych co-star James Roday for eight years; the show ended its run in 2014.
In 2011 she was the star of a play called Greedy, directed by Roday, which played for a few weekends in Los Angeles.
In 2011, she performed a short skit called "A Date with Diana" for Funny or Die. In it, she played Wonder Woman and went on a date with a fan.
Lawson starred in the ABC sitcom Back In The Game, which was picked up for the 2013 fall season. She played Terry Gannon, a single mother and former college softball player who reluctantly agrees to coach her son's little league team. On November 1, 2013, ABC canceled Back in the Game. The tenth episode was aired on December 11, 2013. ABC has not aired the remaining three episodes of its original 13-episode order, but may do so at a later date.
Lawson was engaged to Back In The Game co-star Ben Koldyke on November 14, 2014. They were married on August 8, 2015 on their ranch in New Mexico. Lawson filed for divorce from Koldyke in early 2017, quickly stopped wearing her wedding ring to public events, and in late 2017 removed "wife" from her Twitter bio and changed her Instagram username from @maggielawsonkoldyke to @magslawslawson.
In 2014, it was announced that Lawson would topline the CBS comedy pilot Save the Date.
In 2016, Lawson starred in the CBS fantasy sitcom Angel from Hell. She played Allison Fuller, a dermatologist who knows Amy, a mysterious woman who reveals herself to be an angel. On February 8, 2016, CBS canceled the series after the first five episodes had aired.
In May 2017, it was announced that Psych: The Movie would air in December 2017, which Lawson would also reprise her character, Juliet O'Hara.
